The Milliken Museum Society is a 501(c) nonprofit organization that runs entirely on donations, grants, and memberships. Donations and memberships are tax deductible. We are thankful for the generosity of our donors and members in ensuring that we can continue operating and sharing the history of the Westside for generations to come.
For those who would like to donate an item to the collection, we encourage you to reach out to us via our email or phone number to coordinate or bring your item with you to the museum when we are open (Tuesdays to Sundays, 1-4 pm). When preparing to donate an item, we request that items pertain to Los Banos and Westside history and we will have you fill out a form documenting donor information and provenance. We may be selective about which items we accept due to limited archive space and items unrelated to our region's history may not be accepted.
For those who would like to make a financial donation, we have a variety of ways to do so. At the Museum, you can donate cash to our donation box, give us a donation check payable to the Milliken Museum Society, or make a donation via our Square terminal. You can also make a donation via PayPal by scanning the QR code on the donation box or by clicking the "Donate Monetarily" link below which will take you to PayPal for your donation.
For those who would like to become a member, you can come to the Museum and select what tier of membership you would like to sign up for and either pay in cash, via a check payable to the Milliken Museum Society, or through the Square terminal. We will have you fill out your membership form physically in this case. You may also mail us cash or a check to our PO Box. Finally, you can sign up online by clicking the "Become a Member" button below which will take you to PayPal to complete the transaction. Members will receive a quarterly newsletter, The Crossroads Courier and will be given a shoutout in the issue after you sign up.Â
